I genuinely cannot recommend Villa Maria enough.
My daughter literally runs into school every morning, and half the time she doesn’t want to come home yet. I’ve never seen a child so excited to learn and be with her friends. Every week is themed, and I can hear in our conversations at home how much she is actually learning — real foundations, not just busy play.
That alone gives me so much peace of mind. And as a parent, I value communication and accountability. The principals and teachers are approachable, open and supportive. If something comes up, it gets handled. Security is consistent and strong. I feel safe knowing she is in their hands. And the meals… let’s just say I’ve been told that school spaghetti tastes better than mine.
Bottom line: my child is thriving, she’s happy, she feels heard and she feels safe. She asks if it’s Monday yet because she wants to go back. That tells me everything.
Our family has been part of Villa Maria Educare for several years now, and we couldn't be happier. Our daughter Aisha started at age 1 and spent four wonderful years growing, learning, and developing confidence and kindness. The teachers provided such a nurturing and stimulating environment that she was more than ready for “big school.” In fact, her Grade R teacher even asked which educare she had attended and commented that she was more than adequately prepared for primary school — a true reflection of the strong foundation Villa Maria provides.
Our son Ayaan is now attending at age 2, and his transition from being at home with a nanny to joining the educare was not easy. His teachers and the entire team at Villa Maria were patient, loving, and incredibly supportive throughout this process, helping him settle in and feel safe and happy. We are grateful to have found a place where our children feel loved, understood, and excited to learn every day.

The moment I set foot on the grounds at Villa Maria, I knew it was where I wanted my children to be. Villa Maria is more than a daycare, it’s a nurturing space where kids learn, play, and grow each day, surrounded by warmth, joy, and truly amazing people. With long days away from home, it’s comforting to know they’re thriving in a place that feels like a second home.
Our experience at Villa Maria Educare has been exceptional. When our daughter, Nuhaa, joined the school on short notice, we were immediately struck by the warmth and care she received from day one. Over the past four years, we have always felt confident that she was in safe and loving hands. The principals, teachers, and assistants genuinely care for each child. They create a space where children feel valued, encouraged, and free to be themselves. One of the aspects we have appreciated the most is the school’s inclusive spirit, as it welcomes families from all backgrounds and cultures, reflecting the diversity and unity that South Africa aspires to.
As Nuhaa prepares to move on to the next stage of her schooling, she carries with her the memories of the friendships she has made at Villa Maria and the values and compassion that Villa Maria has helped foster. We will dearly miss this wonderful school and the incredible people who make it so special.

My son attended Villa Maria for the past three years, and each year he grew to love his teachers even more. No tears, no stress — just happiness and comfort.If Villa Maria had a primary school extension, I wouldn’t hesitate to keep him there. It has truly become his second home. They make every week and month exciting and memorable for the children and show how much thought and effort the team puts into creating a joyful learning environment. It’s such a comfort knowing that our daughter spends her days in a place where she feels safe, happy, and truly cared for - like a second home. Villa Maria is a safe, loving space where children are nurtured and guided as they learn and grow. Learning is fun and creative, with new weekly themes and beautiful artwork sent home as evidence of all they’ve explored. Cookie's food is amazing, enjoyed by one and all and we love the special days — Book and Dress-Up Days, Show and Tell Fridays, and especially Movie Night! My heart is happy every morning knowing my tiny human is cared for and loved. Villa Maria isn’t just an educare — it’s a family.
